There are such as; a design that suits the product, in terms of marketing and attracting the costumers, as well as ending up with the least expenses and used material. Moreover the matter of being able to recycle the packaging is also one of the concerns’ of designers nowadays. And of course, the designing aspect of the packaging and how unique they can be play a huge role too.
Through my research I have come across some of these unusual packaging designs that I am going to share them here.
The first of is: Jane Austen Shoe
I really like the idea of these shoes packaging because it is simple, convenient and watchful in the usage of material. And as the designer says: “This is a brand, shoe, and packaging design I created as part of an Advanced Imaging and Layout course. The shoe was inspired by the strength of the author and the elegance of the Victorian era, but with an edgy twist. The unique packaging concept keeps the shoes within a scroll. Created using Photoshop and Illustrator CS3”.
